The MyFam Privacy Promise
We built MyFam to keep our own families close. These promises sit behind everything in the terms below.
You own your memories
The photos and videos you add stay yours. We don't take a license to your content or use it to train anything. It's there for the family you share it with, and that's the only place it goes.
You decide who sees them
MyFam is invite-only. The people already in your family group are the only ones who can see what you post. There's no public profile for strangers to stumble onto, and no algorithm rearranging your feed.
We never sell your data
We make money from subscriptions, which means we don't have to make it from your data. We don't run ads, and we don't sell or rent your information to advertisers or data brokers. Because we're family-owned, no investor is going to talk us out of that.
Welcome to MyFam ("we," "our," or "us"), operated by Family Apps LLC. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our family social app (the "App"). By creating an account or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not use the App.
1. Eligibility
MyFam is designed for families of all ages. There is no minimum age requirement to use the App; however, children under 18 must use the App under the supervision and consent of a parent or legal guardian.
Parents and legal guardians who create or manage accounts for minors are fully responsible for those accounts and all activity under them.
By using the App, you confirm that you have the legal authority to accept these Terms on your behalf or on behalf of your child or family group.
2. Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account login details.
You are responsible for all activity under your account.

3. User Content
You may post, share, and upload photos, videos, messages, and other content ("User Content").
You retain ownership of your User Content. By posting it, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to store, display, and share it within the App as intended by the App's functionality.
You may not upload content that is unlawful, harmful, abusive, obscene, or that infringes on the rights of others.
We reserve the right to remove content that violates these Terms.
4. Location Data
Some features, such as maps, require location data. By enabling these features, you consent to our collection and use of your location data as described in our Privacy Policy.
5. Notifications and Communications
If you enable notifications, you agree that we may send you notifications about your family's activity, your account, and the App. Some messages, such as security, account, and billing notices, are essential to the service.
You can turn off push notifications at any time in your device settings, and opt out of promotional messages as described in our Privacy Policy.
Notification delivery depends on your device, operating system, and network, and we cannot guarantee that every notification will arrive or arrive on time.
6. Subscriptions and Payments
MyFam offers subscription plans that provide access to premium features. By subscribing, you agree to the following:
- Billing:Subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis (monthly or annually, depending on the plan you choose) through Apple's App Store or Google Play. Payment is processed by the respective platform.
- Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless you cancel before the renewal date.
- Cancellation:You may cancel your subscription at any time through your device's app store settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you will retain access to premium features until that date.
- Refunds: Refunds are handled by Apple or Google in accordance with their respective refund policies. We do not process refunds directly.
- Price Changes: We may change subscription pricing from time to time. If we do, we will provide advance notice before the change applies to your next billing cycle.
7. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to:
- Use the App for any unlawful purpose.
- Harass, threaten, or abuse other users.
- Attempt to hack, disrupt, or interfere with the App.
- Use automated systems (bots, scrapers, etc.) to access the App without permission.
8. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or misuse the App.
You may delete your account at any time. Upon deletion, we will handle your data as described in our Privacy Policy.
9. Disclaimers
The App is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free operation, or the accuracy of information within the App.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Family Apps LLC and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App. Our total liability for any claim relating to the App is limited to the amount you paid us (if any) for using the App in the 12 months prior to the claim.
11. Dispute Resolution and Arbitration
Please read this section carefully. It affects your legal rights.
You and Family Apps LLC agree that any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or the use of the App shall be resolved through binding individual arbitration, rather than in court, except that either party may bring claims in small claims court if eligible.
Arbitration shall be conducted by a neutral arbitrator in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association (AAA). The arbitration will take place in the State of Utah or remotely, as agreed by the parties.
Class Action Waiver: You agree that disputes will be resolved on an individual basis only. You waive your right to participate in a class action, class arbitration, or any other representative proceeding.
If any part of this arbitration clause is found unenforceable, the remainder shall still apply. This arbitration agreement shall survive termination of these Terms.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Utah, without regard to conflict of law principles.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you in the App or by email. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the revised Terms.
